Biography

Artist dedicated to the ancient vocal repertoire, twentieth century and contemporary classical music. Winner in May 2018 of the Global Music Award – Silver medal in the categories Contemporary Classical and Female Vocalist with the recording of the Symphony N. 4 Nezahualcoyotl Icuicahuan (Songs of Nezahualcoyotl) for soprano and orchestra by Juan Trigos (iTinerant 2016).

Among her most relevant performances are, in 2022 Variazioni Concertanti by Juan Trigos with the Italian ensemble Icarus vs. Muzak at the Palacio Nacional de Bellas Artes in Mexico City for the Festival Internacional de Música Nueva “M. Enríquez” and at the Festival internacional Cervantino (Guanajuato, Mexico). By the same composer, the operas Ella-Miau (Miami-Guadalajara 2022) and DeCachetitoRaspado (Atlanta, GA 2015 - Cagliari, Italy 2007). Cantata Concertante No. 3 Phos Hilaron premiered and recorded for iTinerant with Orquesta Sinfónica de Guanajuato (2013).

Other successful interpretations include the American continent premiere of The Mystic Trumpeter by Holst and Les Illuminations by Britten with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Boca del Río conducted by Jorge Mester (2020 and 2023), Orbón’s Himnus ad Galli Cantum, Respighi’s Lauda per la Nativitá del Signore, Stravinsky’s Cantata and Four Songs; Rasgado’s opera El Conejo y el Coyote, Zohn-Muldoon’s Comala, Comala Suite No. 2 and Flores del Viento III, Montsalvatge’s Chansons creoles, Berio’s Folk Songs, Dallapiccola’s Goethe lieder and Castiglioni’s Terzina.  She has sung under the baton of conductors of international fame as Daniele Callegari, Riccardo Frizza, Günter Neuhold, Marcello Panni and Juan Trigos, collaborating with ensembles and orchestras like Orchestra del Teatro Regio of Parma (Italy); Eastman BroadBand and Hypercube (New York), Symphony Orchestras of Monterrey, Aguascaliente and Puebla (Mexico); and Sinfónica de Heredia (Costa Rica), among the others. She is a member of NODUS Ensemble (Miami, FL) and co-founder/manager/performer of The Last Hundred Ensemble in Miami and Sinfonietta MIQ (Mexico).
